The year is 1993—”Keep Ya Head Up” is playing and you’re in the backseat of the car drying your eyes because your mom just asked “Do you got McDonald’s money?” and you don’t. Fast forward to 2021 and you’re picking up the phone to find out the Tupac Estate needs words for the launch of Wake Me When I’m Free: A Tupac Museum Experience. That happened. So I worked with a fellow creative to workshop storyboards then write OLV and radio scripts for its debut. Then I went to McDonald’s.
