How we stay informed is an act of intention. But what’s behind some of our favorite podcasts and the stories told? A brand. I was tasked to partner with an Art Director to assemble brand books, marketing scripts, and ads for shows like It’s Been A Minute, Tiny Desk Concerts, Invisibilia, and name NPR’s first true-crime podcast: White Lies, which went on to become a Pulitzer Prize finalist and Peabody Award winner. This multi-channel promotional work for a portfolio of podcasts/programs resulted in a 58% increase in weekly unique listeners, growing from 7.1M to 11.2M, in just 12 months.
